A Reefstacks app
Every wish becomes a star.
Vela is a sky of your own for everything you dream of. Type or say a wish, watch it light up as a star, and the app writes and narrates the story of the day it came true, so you can listen to it before you fall asleep.
Vela
What Vela does
A sky of your own
Every wish is a star with its own name. Together they form your constellation, which grows with every dream.
Narrated stories
For each wish, Vela writes a short scene from the day it came true and reads it aloud in about 2 minutes.
Tonight's light
A daily affirmation crafted around your wishes, plus a nightly streak to help you build the habit.
Just say it
Tap the mic and say your wish. The words appear as you speak.
Listen or read
A player with 15-second skip forward and back, or the full text if you'd rather read.
Your wishes, your way
Edit a star's text or delete it, along with its stories, whenever you like.
No ads, no tracking
No advertising, no third-party analytics, and your data is never sold.
In your language
The app is available in Spanish, English and Portuguese, and stories are written in the language you choose.
How it works
Make a wish
Type it or say it out loud. It can be a trip, a home, a project, or simply peace of mind.
It becomes a star
Your wish appears in your sky as a golden star you can tap anytime.
Listen to its story
In seconds, Vela writes and narrates the day your wish is already real, with details that feel close to home.
Come back every night
Catch the day's light, replay your stories and make new wishes. Your sky grows with you.
Frequently asked questions
Does Vela guarantee my wishes will come true?
No. Vela is a visualization and well-being tool: it helps you imagine what you want in vivid detail and come back to it every day. What happens next is up to you and to life.
Who writes and narrates the stories?
They're written by an artificial intelligence model (Claude, by Anthropic) based on your wish, and narrated by a synthetic voice (ElevenLabs). Every story is created just for you.
Is it free?
Your first star and its story are free. For unlimited wishes and a new story every night, there's a weekly or annual subscription, with a free trial on the annual plan. You can cancel anytime from the app store.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Vela creates an anonymous account on your phone the first time you open it. It only asks for a name, if you'd like, so the stories can call you by it.
What happens to my voice when I dictate a wish?
Dictation is handled by your phone's speech recognition service (Google's on Android, Apple's on iPhone). Vela only receives the text, never the audio.
Can I delete a wish?
Yes. Press and hold its star and choose "Delete wish." Its stories and narrations are deleted from our servers too.
