Who provides Vela

Vela is an app by Reefstacks, based in San Andrés, Islas, Colombia. By using Vela, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

What Vela is and isn't

Vela helps you visualize your wishes through stories and affirmations. It doesn't promise that anything will happen, and its content is not medical, psychological, financial or legal advice.

AI-generated content

Stories, affirmations and narrations are generated automatically by artificial intelligence models based on what you write. They may be inaccurate or may not reflect your situation. Use your own judgment.

You may use the content created for you for personal purposes, including sharing it on your social media.

Acceptable use

Don't use Vela to request content that is illegal, violent or sexual, or that seeks to harm, control or harass another person. We may decline those requests, steer the story toward your well-being, or suspend accounts that abuse the service.

Don't try to access other people's accounts, overload our servers or copy the app.

Free plan and subscriptions

Your first star and its story are free. To keep creating stories, you'll need a subscription. Plans and prices are shown in the app before you pay, in your local currency.

Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm your purchase or, if you chose a free trial, when the trial ends.

Your subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can cancel anytime in your app store's subscription settings; you'll keep access until the end of the paid period.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.

To keep service costs in check, the paid plan has a reasonable daily limit on new stories, which is shown in the app.

Your account

Your account is anonymous and lives on your phone. If you delete the app or switch phones, you may lose access to your wishes and stories. Subscriptions can be restored from the app using the same app store account.

Changes and availability

We may improve, change or discontinue Vela features. If we make significant changes to these terms, we'll let you know in the app.

We do our best to keep Vela running at all times, but there may be interruptions, especially with third-party services such as AI or voice.

Liability

Vela is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you make based on the app's content or for indirect damages. This does not limit your rights under consumer protection law.
